Shift: 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 12pm Friday
Pay: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to support its manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a flexible approach, and experience working in a yard or industrial environment.
You will be responsible for yard operations, goods handling, and nationwide deliveries, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely, efficiently, and on time.
The Role
Driving a company van to undertake nationwide deliveries as required
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load and unload goods and machinery (FLT licence essential)
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Managing goods in and goods out, including checking deliveries and paperwork
Moving materials and products around the yard and workshop areas
Supporting production teams with loading requirements
Carrying out general yard duties, including keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
Managing and sorting recycling and waste materials in line with company procedures
Following all health and safety regulations and safe systems of work About You
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
Full UK driving licence with experience driving vans
Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred
Good awareness of health and safety
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
