A well-established and busy law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its Residential Property and New Build Conveyancing teams. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced conveyancing environment and takes pride in delivering an excellent level of service.
The Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide essential support across a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including both sales and purchases. Responsibilities will include:

Opening new conveyancing files and maintaining case management systems

Assisting with residential and new build property transactions from instruction through to completion

Preparing contracts, searches, completion statements, and related documentation

Handling client enquiries professionally via phone and email

Supporting fee earners with administration, filing, post-completion tasks, and billing
Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or in a similar conveyancing support role

Experience supporting residential conveyancing sales and purchases

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and instructions accurately

Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills

Confident IT and keyboard skills; numerate and literate

Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team

Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure
