Job Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Holmfirth
Hourly rate: £12.21 (DOE)
We are looking for a reliable assembly operative to join our client who specialise in sheet metal engineering. The role will involve assembling sheet metal components and following engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble sheet metal components and products according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions

Use hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively

Carry out basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards

Report any faults, defects, or issues to the supervisor

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety requirements

Work collaboratively as part of a production team to meet deadlines and output targets

Follow company procedures, including health & safety and quality systems
Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or sheet metal environment (preferred but not essential)

Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings

A positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm
