Job Title: Branch Assistant
Location: There are currently two vacancies available, located in NE3 2EF and NE11 0JF.
Salary: Up to 30k (DOE) + Overtime
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Working Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Overtime: Optional, paid at time and a half
The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical wholesaler for a reliable and motivated Branch Assistant to join their busy trade counter team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, warehouse duties, and driving.
Key Responsibilities

Serving customers on the trade counter

Trade counter sales and customer support

Taking in and checking deliveries

Manual handling and general warehouse duties

Using computer systems for orders and stock

Occasional local deliveries as required
Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

Comfortable using computers and basic systems

Ability to carry out manual handling tasks

Strong customer service skills

Previous experience in a trade counter or electrical wholesaler environment is desirable
