Bid Assistant – Dublin | Tier 1 Contractor
The Opportunity
A Tier 1 Contractor with a strong pipeline of large building and infrastructure projects is seeking a
Bid Assistant to support the preparation of high-quality tender submissions. This role sits at the
heart of the bid process, working closely with Bid Managers, Estimators, Planners, and Commercial
teams.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Coordination & Administration
Support the coordination of PQQs, ITTs, and tender submissions.
Manage tender documentation, version control, and compliance.
Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
Document Control & Presentation
Compile submission documents, schedules, and appendices.
Maintain bid libraries, CVs, project sheets, and standard responses.
Format and proofread submissions to a high professional standard.
Stakeholder Interface
Liaise with internal teams to gather bid inputs.
Support Bid Managers in chasing information and closing gaps.
Assist with post-tender clarifications.
Process & Improvement
Support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.
Capture feedback from unsuccessful tenders.
Requirements
Experience supporting bids or tenders within a construction or engineering environment.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent written English and attention to detail.
Confident IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salary & Package
Salary range: €45,000 – €60,000 DOE
