A great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor is now available to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Tayside. You will be joining a company who have built an excellent reputation across the industry on a variety of construction projects over many successful years. This role would suit an established Assistant QS, Graduate or Trainee who is ready to work/ assist on projects in a company’s small works department.
Responsibilities:

Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

Assist in the preparation of client valuations.

Arrange payments.

Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.

Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.

Valuing of completed work.

Provide advice and forecasts of costs.

Liaise with Senior Quantity Surveyors and management.
Education & Requirements:
-
Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards.
-
Understanding of Quantity Surveying methods, ready to put knowledge into practice.

Knowledge of construction practices.
-
Computer literate.
-
Work well in a team and individually with a strong desire to learn.
