The successful Assistant Project Manager will work on projects across Greater Manchester and the North West, supporting both public and private sector clients. With schemes typically ranging from £5 million to £40 million, this consultancy delivers complex refurbishments and new builds across offices, schools, colleges and civic buildings.

The Assistant Project Manager's role
The Assistant Project Manager will support senior colleagues in delivering multiple live projects from early feasibility and business case through to completion. Duties will include assisting with project planning, design coordination, cost and risk management, and contract administration.
The role will involve preparing reports and documentation, attending site meetings, engaging with clients and consultants, and helping to manage project programmes and milestones. You will gain hands-on experience across all RIBA stages, with support from an experienced and collaborative team.
This role would suit a confident and organised Assistant Project Manager with consultancy experience and a genuine interest in the built environment.
The Assistant Project Manager
Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
One to two years experience in a UK construction consultancy
Exposure to commercial or education sector projects is desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with JCT contracts is an advantage
Ambitious and working towards chartership (APM, RICS or CIOB)
