Overview of an Executive Assistant
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the VP of TV & AV, acting as a trusted extension of the leadership team. This is a varied and fast-paced role involving diary management, project coordination, event management and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities of an Executive Assistant
• Provide comprehensive executive support, including complex diary management, meeting coordination and preparation of professional documentation
• Manage and support departmental projects, events and team activities, ensuring effective planning, organisation and delivery
• Coordinate travel, expenses, supplier administration and office requirements in line with internal processes and budgets
• Act as a key point of contact, supporting communication, problem-solving and collaboration across teams and stakeholders
Key competencies of an Executive Assistant
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of discretion and professionalism
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Confident problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing change and meeting tight deadlines
• Resilient, adaptable and proactive with a positive, “can-do” attitude
