Emergency Call Handler - (PNC8 Required)
Location: Loughborough
Contract: Temporary (3-4 months)
Start: March
Pay Rates:
£13.90 per hour
£17.37 per hour (8:00pm-6:00am and Saturday)
£20.85 per hour ( Sunday)
Shift Pattern (4 days on / 4 days off):
Day 1: Night 10:30pm - 6:30am
Day 2: Evening 5:30pm - 10:30pm
Day 3: Afternoon 12:00pm - 5:30pm
Day 4: Morning 6:30am - 12:30pm
(Onsite, lone working - parking available)
The Role:
Handle emergency and non-emergency calls for a council lifeline and repairs service. Provide calm, professional support, log calls accurately, and follow procedures while working independently.
Essential Requirements:
Must already hold PNC8 clearance and provide proof (employer confirmation or official vetting documentation)
Call centre or emergency call handling experience
Comfortable working rotating shifts including nights, evenings, mornings, and weekends
Confident working alone
