We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse and Stores Operative to join our friendly and thriving client based in Hoddesdon. The role is a full-time permanent position working from 7am – 4pm, Monday – Friday with a 45-minute break. This is a hands-on role within a small, supportive team, offering long-term stability and progression and offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience plus company bonus scheme after probationary period.
Candidates should have previous warehouse experience and be able to move heavy items within the warehouse. Forklift Licence a big advantage, but not essential as training can be provided.
Duties include:
Working within a small team, carrying out all warehousing duties including, but not limited to:

Receiving, checking and unloading deliveries

Inspecting goods for damage and reporting any issues

Accurately picking and packing orders in line with instructions

Preparing goods for dispatch and loading vehicles as required

Small amount of operating warehouse equipment such as Forklift Truck (Bendi Truck)

Stock control including counting and rotating stock

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment

Following all health & safety procedures and company policies

Sending e-mails and speaking to clients to book in and schedule deliveries

Supporting other warehouse tasks as required by management
