Warehouse Operative - Forklift Licensed (Supervisory Duties)
Location: Hounslow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
The Role
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving pick and pack, forklift operation, and supporting supervisory responsibilities to help keep the warehouse running smoothly.
Key Duties
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Preparing goods for dispatch (labelling, wrapping, checking items)
Loading/unloading deliveries and moving stock safely
Operating a forklift truck (valid licence required)
Using warehouse systems/scanners and basic computer work
Supporting the supervision of warehouse staff and daily task allocation
Assisting with training new team members and maintaining standards
Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised
Requirement
Previous warehouse experience (pick & pack essential)
Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance)
Computer literate (warehouse systems, scanners, email, basic spreadsheets)
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
DBS (basic) Check
A positive attitude with the confidence to support and guide others
