Nursery Assistant role- Primary School in NW6 - ASAP start, Long Term
Location: NW6, Kensal Rise
Start Date: ASAP
Role: Nursery Practitioner (Must have minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification)
Contract: Full-time, ASAP – July 2026 - TERM TIME ONLY
Hours: Mon–Wed & Fri: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £105–£115 per day
We are working with a fantastic, community-focused primary school in NW6 who are looking for an experienced Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join their Early Years team as soon as possible. This is a brilliant long-term opportunity until July 2026 initially, ideal for someone passionate about supporting early development in a nurturing, well‑resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children aged 3–4 in a busy, school nursery environment

Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities

Creating a safe, nurturing space that supports children’s personal development

Providing personal care where required

Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
About You:

Must have Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification

Experience working in Early Years (nursery or preschool)

Warm, patient, and proactive
-
Strong understanding of EYFS practice

Reliable and available to start immediately

Must have DBS on the Update Service
