About the Role
Fitness Superstore is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support our warehouse returns and assembly function in Northampton.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, combining day-to-day operational responsibility with team leadership, process organisation, and quality control. You’ll ensure returned goods are processed efficiently, repairs and assemblies meet company standards, and the team operates safely and productively.

Weekly pay every Friday

45 hours per week. Working hours will be between 08:00 – 18:00 Monday -Friday. Weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities
As the Warehouse Supervisor, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

Supervising the end-to-end flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, including receipt, processing, storage, despatch of stock & processing of returned products

Overseeing the accurate processing of goods into stock using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Ensuring correct use of RF scanning guns for goods received, stock movements, and order fulfilment

Managing PC-based warehouse applications to maintain stock accuracy, traceability, and system integrity

Prioritising and allocating workloads to ensure all warehouse duties are processed efficiently

Ensuring outbound orders are picked, packed, and scanned correctly before despatch

Ensuring the efficient inspection, repair, assembly, and return of goods to saleable stock

Supporting and coaching team members in correct WMS and RF scanning procedures

Operating warehouse equipment (FLT, Bendi/Flexi, man-rider) as required to support the operation

Coordinating container and lorry unloading activities

Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements and safe working practices

Investigating and resolving system or stock discrepancies

Identifying process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and throughput

Liaising with management and other departments regarding stock, system, or operational issues
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role

Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control processes

Confident using warehouse management systems, RF scanning technology, and PC-based applications

Ability to manage stock movements from goods-in through to despatch
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to stock accuracy

Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead by example

Ability to undertake manual and heavy lifting where required

Counterbalance forklift licence – advantageous (Training can be provided)

Pivot Steer (Bendi/Flexi) licence – advantageous (Training can be provided)
