Are you looking for flexible, part-time work that fits around your studies or other commitments? Do you enjoy working with children and helping to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment?
We are currently recruiting School Wraparound Childcare Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in Haringey. Schools are looking to build a reliable pool of staff to support their breakfast clubs, lunchtime provision, and after-school clubs.
The Role
You will support children from Reception to Year 6, either before school, during lunchtime, or after school, helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
Hours can vary depending on the school, but typically include:

Breakfast Club: 7:45am – 9:00am

Midday Meal: 11:00am – 2:00pm
-
After-School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
You can choose which sessions suit your availability.
Midday Meal Responsibilities
-
Supporting pupils during the school lunchtime period
-
working both in the lunch hall and on the playground
-
helping to manage behaviour and ensure pupils are safe
Breakfast & After-School Club Responsibilities
-
Supporting the daily running of breakfast and/or after-school clubs
-
Leading or assisting with games, creative activities, and structured play
-
Ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged at all times

Supporting with snacks and transitions between activities

Supervising children indoors and outdoors

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people (school or similar setting preferred)

Reliable, punctual, and proactive

Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for children’s wellbeing

Good spoken and written English

Willingness to undertake training and develop professionally
