Key Duties
Clean and sanitise designated industrial areas, including floors, machinery, and equipment.
Empty waste bins, replace liners, and clean and disinfect waste receptacles.
Dust and wipe down surfaces including desks, chairs, and worktops.
Clean and restock restrooms with required supplies.
Refill cleaning materials and report shortages or issues to supervisors.
Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and steam cleaners.
Follow all health and safety procedures and site protocols.
Communicate with clients to ensure cleaning standards and expectations are met.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Cleaner, ideally within an industrial environment.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, including safe handling and storage.
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
Good physical stamina and ability to carry out manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a professional approach.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
Reliable transport to travel to industrial sites in Dewsbury.
