A growing organisation is looking to appoint a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support its finance function. This role is well suited to someone with existing accounting experience who is keen to progress their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have at least one year’s experience in an accounts role and will be studying towards, or have completed, an AAT qualification. Full study support may be available for those part-qualified. Confidence working across multiple entities and ledgers is essential, with intercompany experience considered a strong advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing reconciliations across multiple accounts
Processing import loans in line with agreed service levels
Maintaining and updating customer ledgers accurately
Supporting cashflow forecasting and reporting
Assisting with month-end processes and postings
Managing accounts for smaller entities, including bank reconciliations, stock records and VAT returns
The ideal candidate will have:
At least one year’s experience in an accounting role
AAT qualification (completed or in progress)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
A proactive, team-focused approach
Desirable: experience with intercompany transactions
