An established manufacturing business is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. The organisation operates within a specialist technical sector, delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to a diverse client base across commercial and regulated markets.
The role will be primarily based from an office location in Southampton three days per week, with one day per week based on the Isle of Wight (paid travel), plus one day working from home.
What will the Finance Assistant role involve?
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
Managing and responding to supplier queries
Monitoring and managing the finance inbox
Supporting the implementation of Accounts Payable invoice automation software
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy:
Previous experience working within a Purchase Ledger role
Able to work in a stand alone capacity
Strong communications skills
