Payroll Administrator
Location: Pontefract Salary: £30,000 Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:30 (occasional weekends/bank holidays) Contract: Permanent | Onsite
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well‑established food manufacturing organisation. You'll manage weekly and monthly payrolls, handle queries, prepare reports, and ensure all processes are accurate, compliant, and well‑maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly and monthly payrolls
Manage deductions and statutory payments
Prepare scheduled and ad‑hoc payroll reports
Handle payroll queries and discrepancies
Administer pension schemes and maintain records
Support process improvements and SOP updatesSkills & Experience
Proven payroll experience
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
High accuracy and attention to detail
Confident communicator; organised and proactive
