Stores Assistant – Temporary
Location: Perth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.16 per hour
Duration: Temporary assignment, 3–4 months initially
Start Date: Immediate
Pertemps Scotland Ltd are currently recruiting a Stores Assistant on behalf of their client based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-organised team on a temporary basis.
Please note: A valid Level 2 Disclosure Scotland certificate is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Picking and packing stock items from picking lists
Processing items through the till system
Restocking shelves and carrying out stock rotation
Receiving, off-loading and checking incoming deliveries
Manual handling and heavy lifting (up to 35kg)
Delivering canteen orders throughout the premises using barrows/trolleys
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Carrying out other duties as requiredEssential Skills & Experience
Previous warehousing or stores experience
Full UK driving licence
Computer literate with strong administrative skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
