Monday to Thursday: 09:00 – 17:00 / Friday: 09:00 – 16:00 (1 Hour break per day)

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the purchase ledger using Sage
• Processing supplier invoices and handling invoice queries
• Maintaining and updating the sales ledger
• Posting transactions to the nominal ledger
• Assisting with reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasks
• Supporting the finance team with administrative duties
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Assisting with ad-hoc accounts and office administration tasks as required
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
• Experience using Sage accounting software is essential
• Good understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and nominal ledger
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident communicator and effective team player
