Port Plant Driver - Bulk Bagging
Location: Immingham Port
Hours: 12 hour shifts
Salary: £12.21 - £25 Paid per tonne - the more you bag, the more you earn. (Can be up to £25 per hour)
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Port Plant Driver/ Bagging operative to join our operations team at a busy bulk bagging terminal. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced port environment, supporting the safe and efficient movement and bagging of bulk materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating port plant and mobile equipment (e.g. forklifts B2, Loading shovels, loaders) within the bulk bagging terminal
Loading, unloading, and moving bulk materials and bagged products
Shovel driving loading hoppers with bulk material
Assisting with bulk bagging operations, including positioning bags and monitoring filling processes
Carrying out daily plant checks
Assisting with clean-down of plant and bagging units
Working in accordance with site safety procedures, port regulations, and risk assessments
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the terminal
Supporting other operational duties as required
Requirements:
If operating plant machinery you will require valid/ expired plant operator tickets (e.g. FLT, shovel, or equivalent)
Valid UKDL
Previous experience in a port, terminal, or industrial environment preferred
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Desirable:
Experience in bulk bagging or bulk cargo handling
