Permanent position for a skilled Assembly Operative based in the Attercliffe area
Day shifts Monday to Friday, early finish Friday salary circa £25-£26
We are seeking a General Assembly Skilled Operative to join our production team due to continuous growth within the business. This role involves final product assembly, testing, and the use of computer software for documentation and quality assurance. Very good company to work for with low staff turnover and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform careful assembly of circuit boards along with mechanical assembly of plastic components into final products

Pack goods for dispatch

Use computer software for product testing and reporting

Test finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Maintain a tidy and organised workspace, handling raw and finished materials safely

Stock control such as picking of items and stock takes when required

Contribute to the team with other duties such as required to meet deadlines
Skills & Qualifications:

High levels of manual dexterity and attention to detail

Ability to follow detailed written instructions with limited supervision

General IT skills and proficiency with computer software

Effective time management and reliability

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Self-motivated and able to work individually or as part of a team
Working Hours (Full Time)
Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Friday 8:30 am – 3:00pm
