Please see below for the applicable rates: Level 2 Apprenticeship Rates: Under 18 years - £14,874 per annum 18-20 years - £19,600 per annum 21+ years - £23,555 per annum We are looking for a Work Placement Administrator Apprentice to join us in the Careers, Work Experience & Progression team within the Student Life Directorate. We lead on activities and strategies that contribute to an outstanding student experience, closely aligned with the college and group strategic objectives.The Work Placement Administrator Apprentice will be based at Park Lane, with regular travel across our other campuses.Working alongside the Work Placement team, you will provide key administrative support to help coordinate high-quality work placements and work experience activities for students across a wide range of curriculum areas, including Childcare, Health and Social Care, Engineering, Travel, Food and Drink, Digital, and Leeds Sixth Form, to name a few.This is an actively student- and employer-facing role, involving regular communication with students, curriculum staff, and external employers to support placement coordination, compliance, and engagement. At times, you may also be asked to support the delivery of classroom-based activities related to work experience.What You Will DoYou will provide administrative support to aid the coordination of high-quality work placements and work experience activities for students across a variety of curriculum areas.Learn the core administrative processes involved in organising work placements and work experience activities.Carry out the administrative duties associated with work placements, including inputting information onto the Work Experience online portal and other tracking systems.Assist with tracking and monitoring student completion of required reflective logs and timesheets.Coordinate the evaluations process for work placements and work experience activities, as directed by the Work Placement Team Coordinator.Provide an appropriate level of support and act as a point of contact for students and employers before, during, and after work placements to help secure successful outcomes.Undertake a range of general administrative duties, including word processing, producing spreadsheets, and updating college information systems.Work towards and ensure the timely completion of the Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship qualification in line with key milestones.About YouYou will have a good general education to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, with literacy and numeracy at Level 2 or above, and a willingness to improve in one or both disciplines where required.
