Hourly Rate: £12.21
Shift Pattern
- Mon–Thu: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekly Total: 42.5 hours (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
A leading warehouse operation in Wednesbury is looking for committed Steel Order Pickers to support its continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants long-term stability and the chance to progress within the logistics sector.
Main Duties
- Select and collect steel products accurately according to order requirements
- Check items to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
- Prepare and package materials for dispatch, involving manual handling
- Work closely with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised work area
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in warehousing or order picking is useful but not essential
- Comfortable with physical work and handling heavy items
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills to assist with stock systems
- Dependable, cooperative, and able to communicate well with the team
