We have a new opportunity here at Microlise for a part time Commercial Cleaner, working 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday!
As our business continues to grow so does the requirement for our Domestics Team, who are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our Head Office in Eastwood, Nottingham. You will be responsible for an area on rotation and will be expected to clean to the frequency and standard set out in the cleaning schedule.

Please note that the successful candidates job title will be Housekeeper, in line with our organisational structure.
What you will be doing:

All areas of the building to be cleaned daily including, toilet areas, kitchens, general offices, meeting rooms and corridors in line with the cleaning schedule

All surfaces to be clean and wiped with cleaning products provided, including counters, mirrors and doors

Floor areas to be mopped, cleaned and vacuumed as appropriate, including carpet cleaning and the use of the scrubbing machine on hard floors in various areas of the business as per the schedule

Appliances to be loaded and unloaded as required

Products to be restocked and replenished as required e.g., toilet roll dispensers, drinks machines etc

Wastepaper bins to be emptied across the building

Deep cleans to various areas of the business to be carried out as per the schedule

Hospitality duties during the day including hot drink and cold drinks replenishing, organization of lunch time buffets including the set up and clear up (applicable to employees working daytime hours)

Provide cover to the lunch time operation as and when required, dependent on availability (applicable to employees working evening shifts)
What we’re looking for:

Demonstrable experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a commercial/office environment

Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)

Able to manage time effectively to complete the tasks to a high level

Punctual and reliable

Ability to prioritise own work with minimum supervision

Flexible to changing demands

Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions
