Upholstery Operative (Temp to Perm)
Location: Upper Clatford, Andover
Pay Rate: £12.21 - £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:15
Contract: 12-week Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview
Our client is seeking 2-3 Upholstery Operatives to join their team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support the Production Manager and work across multiple departments to assist in the manufacture of high-quality office furniture product lines. The role focuses on applying adhesive and fabric to surfaces, ensuring all finishes are straight, smooth, and free of air bubbles.
Key Responsibilities
Apply adhesive evenly using a roller
Accurately position and stick fabric onto surfaces
Ensure all finishes are neat, smooth, and free of air bubbles
Operate hand tools and production machinery (full training provided)
Maintain high standards of quality and appearance
Skills & Experience Required
Previous manufacturing or upholstery experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and pride in the finished product
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Hands-on, practical approach to tasks
