An opportunity has arisen for a professional and reliable Receptionist to join a busy legal practice based at their Tottenham office. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone organised, personable and confident handling a busy front desk. The role offers a salary of £23,000 per annum, 4 weeks’ paid holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme.

Receptionist — Position Overview:
You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, managing reception duties, calls and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a professional legal office.
Key Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
• Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answering, screening and directing telephone calls and messages accurately
• Managing reception desk coverage at all times
• Handling incoming and outgoing post, DX and deliveries
• Sorting and distributing mail and documents internally
• Maintaining knowledge of staff availability and office procedures
• Assisting with clerical tasks including typing, filing, data entry and proofreading
• Supporting office security and client access to the premises
• Referring clients for non-criminal legal advice to the Law Society where required
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times
Requirements of the Receptionist:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, professional and well-presented manner
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and general internet use
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable timekeeping and attendance
• Understanding of confidentiality in a legal environment
