About the Role
A supportive and well-organised Greenwich primary school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 2 pupil with additional learning needs. The role starts in February, with trial days available ahead of the start date.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support the pupil with literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation, helping them access the curriculum within a mainstream classroom. The SENCo provides clear strategies, resources, and regular guidance.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:
Has experience supporting SEN pupils in KS1 or KS2
Is patient, consistent, and nurturing
Can follow support plans and adapt activities as needed
Works well as part of a wider classroom and SEN team
