Location: Hythe
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm
(Flexibility required to work Fridays during peak periods)
Transport: Due to the site location, applicants must have their own transport.
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our client's expanding Production Team in Hythe. This role is integral to the manufacturing of high‑quality products and involves operating machinery, using various tools, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture components.
Use hand tools and power tools to assist in the production process.
Handle raw materials and completed products safely and efficiently.
Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards.
Follow production schedules and work instructions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the working area.
Accurately assemble components as required.
Assist with packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods for dispatch.
Complete basic production paperwork and documentation.Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in assembly, production, or a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and a committed work ethic.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Highly desirable: Experience in carpentry, furniture making, or working with timber-based products.Benefits
