Our client, a leading maintenance company based in Petersfield, is actively seeking Skilled Labourers, Duct Engineers, ideal for candidates looking to upskill and build a long-term career within the ducting and ventilation industry, must live within an hour with the Petersfield area.
Any skilled labouring background will be considered, particularly those from construction, maintenance, mechanical, or commercial cleaning environments. Full training is available for motivated candidates with the right attitude.
The role involves planned and reactive duct cleaning, repairs, and modifications, installation, primarily across London airports and train stations, as well as offices, shopping centres, bars, pubs, and retail environments within these establishments.
This is a night-shift role, representing the company on-site and liaising with clients, so professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake duct cleaning to TR19 standards (training provided)
Assist with and carry out ductwork repairs and modifications
Complete high-standard commercial and industrial cleaning duties
Use hand tools and power tools confidently and safely
Work at height using ladders and access platforms
Support job site setup and clear-down
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Follow written and verbal instructions
Adhere to all health & safety and environmental regulations
Work both independently and as part of a team
Essential Requirements
Skilled labourers looking to upskill are encouraged to apply

Good practical ability with hand tools and power tools
Willingness to carry out hands-on cleaning and ducting work
Full UK driving licence (company vehicles provided)
Clean, traceable 5-year employment history (DBS & Airport Access Pass required)
Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
Commercial site experience preferred
Ability to work alone and within a team
Two references required
Preferred Qualifications (not essential – training provided)
TR19 Certification
NVQ Level 2 in Heating & Ventilating Ductwork Installation
CSCS Card
