Warehouse Operative
Location: Clevedon
Pay Rate: £12.85
Shift Pattern:Days 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary
Our client, a well-established and growing logistics operation, is currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within warehousing and logistics, with full training provided for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely handling, moving, and storing goods within the warehouse

Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (where trained)

Picking, packing, and stocking products accurately
-
Assisting with kitting activities by preparing components in line with build lists
-
Supporting production or assembly teams by ensuring kits are complete and accurate
-
Assisting with goods inwards, dispatch, and loading/unloading operations
-
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment
-
Carrying out quality control checks to ensure products meet required standards

Using warehouse management systems to update stock movements and records
-
Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements:
-
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
-
Experience with kitting, picking to build lists, or assembly support is beneficial
-
Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable
-
Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting safely
-
Good attention to detail, particularly when working to build lists
-
Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
