The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
• Provide targeted support to pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum
• Assist with Maths and English interventions to support pupil progress
• Support pupils with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and positive engagement
• Assist with supervision during classroom activities, transitions, break/lunch times, and routines
• Observe and record pupil progress and contribute to planning and assessment discussions
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
About You
• Experience working in a primary school or educational setting in the UK
• Relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent – essential
• Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable with a passion for supporting children’s learning
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
• Confident supporting pupils academically and socially
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education)
