An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global medical device manufacturing organisation that develops, manufactures, and supplies innovative solutions used in applications worldwide.
The business operates across multiple international markets with manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations spanning Europe, the UK, and further global locations. Having grown significantly through strategic acquisitions and international expansion, the organisation is investing heavily in its data and analytics capability to create a single source of truth across its global operations.
As part of this ongoing digital transformation, the company is now seeking a BI & Data Warehouse Developer to play a key role in designing, building, and optimising its enterprise data warehouse and BI reporting landscape.
The Role:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data warehouse architectures, including schema and storage structures

Build and support ETL / ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple global source systems

Create and optimise dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting

Develop clean, analytics-ready datasets through complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions

Partner with stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality BI dashboards and reports, following UX and reporting best practices

Support forecasting and sales reporting systems as key data sources for BI

Monitor, tune, and maintain data warehouse and BI performance, including capacity planning

Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing system support

Work with third-party vendors where required to resolve technical issues

Produce and maintain technical documentation and support user training

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance BI capabilities and user experience
Skills & Experience Needed:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience

Strong experience with BI and data warehouse technologies (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Snowflake, Qlik Talend Cloud or similar)

Solid experience working with SQL-based databases (MS SQL and/or Oracle)

Proven capability designing and maintaining ETL / ELT processes

Advanced SQL and/or PL/SQL skills

Experience working with data governance, quality, and gap analysis

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Confident communicator able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
