Timber Mill Operative
Location: Exeter
Pay: £13.00 to 13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a Timber Mill Operative to join our client’s busy team in Exeter. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, working with timber products and machinery. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in a similar setting would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Operating timber mill machinery safely and efficiently
Cutting, shaping, and preparing timber to specification
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Assisting with loading and unloading timber products
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
What We’re Looking For
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable and punctual
Previous experience in timber or manufacturing
