Humly is working in close partnership with a welcoming primary school to recruit a resilient and experienced 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated support for pupils with additional needs.
This is a full-time role, starting ASAP, initially running until 13th February 2026, with the potential to continue beyond half-term and into the summer term.
The role is based within EYFS and Key Stage 1, supporting pupils primarily outside of the classroom to help them regulate, engage with learning and access appropriate support in a structured, safe environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs

Supporting emotional regulation and engagement with learning

Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff

Delivering structured support outside of the classroom

Promoting a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
What You’ll Bring

Previous experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs

A calm, patient and resilient approach

Confidence working on a 1:1 basis

Ability to follow guidance and adapt support strategies

EYFS or KS1 experience is beneficial
