Winsearch UK is currently working with a leading UK Manufacturer and supplier of high-quality components to the automotive industry to appoint an experienced Secretary with a focus on accurate note taking.
We are seeking an experienced, professional note-taker to provide independent support during formal dismissal appeal hearings. Due to all internal HR team members having been involved in the process to date, we require a neutral individual to attend hearings, take accurate notes, and produce a clear, professional written record.

The Role:
This is a short-term engagement, including attendance at hearings and subsequent transcription and refinement of notes. There may be opportunities for similar ad hoc assignments in the future.
Key responsibilities include:
Attend formal dismissal appeal hearings and take accurate, structured notes
Capture discussions clearly and impartially, potentially using shorthand
Transcribe and type up notes to a professional standard
Ensure all documentation is clear, factual, and well-presented
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications and Requirements

About You
Proven experience as a secretary, legal secretary, HR administrator, PA, or professional note-taker
Strong minute-taking skills; shorthand experience highly desirable
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information
Professional, discreet, and impartial in approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
