Pay Rate: 17/Hourly
Role Overview:
RG Setsquare is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Asphault Laying Operative to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trades person to contribute to high-quality construction and refurbishment projects in a supportive, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for site preparation and Clearing debris, preparing the foundation (grading and installing the base), and setting up temporary traffic management systems (cones, barriers, signs).
Ensuring the Maintenance and repair and Cutting away damaged road surfaces with tools like pneumatic drills, installing street ironworks (like manholes), and performing routine maintenance on their equipment.
Ensuring the work site complies with safety regulations and adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures to protect themselves, their colleagues, and the public. Requirements:
Prior Asphault Laying Operative experience and valid CSCS ticket required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
