Pyrotechnic Packing Operative

We're recruiting a Packing Operative for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Chalgrove. You'll be packing and palletising pyrotechnic components including cartridge sets and rocket motors for aviation safety systems - specialist work with explosive materials in a highly regulated environment.
What you'll be doing:
Packing and palletising cartridges and rocket motors to engineering instructions
Handling explosive materials safely in accordance with strict procedures
Raising deliveries and printing labels
Using SAP to manage work progress and KPIs
Working to dangerous goods regulations for air, sea, and road transport
Contributing to 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements including risk assessments and COSHH
What you need:
GCSE grades 3-7 (or equivalent)
Dangerous goods training (air, sea, road) is ideal, or relevant dangerous goods experience if you can train up quickly
Level D approval (or ability to achieve this)
Basic SAP and Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of H&S procedures in regulated environments
Attention to detail and ability to follow specifications precisely
Team player who can work independently

Days-based role: 08:00-16:45 Mon-Thu / 08:00-12:00 Fri
