At Aspire People, we are recruiting Graduate Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful classroom experience while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
The Role:
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist teachers during lessons and classroom activities
- Help deliver catch-up and intervention sessions
- Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
- Supervise pupils during breaks and transitions
- Gain first-hand experience of school life and safeguarding practices
You may work with pupils who need additional support, including those with SEND, SEMH, or learning gaps.
Preferred Courses / Skills:
Applicants with experience in or studying the following subjects are especially encouraged to apply:
- English / Literacy - supporting reading and writing activities
- Mathematics / Numeracy - helping students with numeracy skills
- Arts / Creative Studies - music, drama, visual arts, or design projects
- Psychology / Child Development / Child Studies - understanding students' needs and behaviour
- Health / Physical Education - helping with physical activities and well-being
