Billing Assistant (Hybrid)

I'm recruiting for a Billing Assistant to join a business in Glasgow. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play a key part in the firm's billing process, working closely with Partners, clients and finance teams.
If you enjoy detail-driven work, ownership of processes, and being part of a supportive professional services environment, this is a role well worth exploring.
Please note - this is an initial 12 month FTC.

The role
- Monitoring Partner and client billing portfolios
- Ensuring bills are issued within agreed firm timeframes
- Producing and analysing billing reports
- Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Inputting billing amendments onto the system
- Responding to billing-related queries from clients and internal stakeholders
- Liaising with the eBilling team on billing guidelines and portal requirements
- Requesting credit notes and re-issues via finance workflows
- Working closely with wider finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing
What I'm looking for
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- A background in finance or billing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence dealing with clients, Partners and senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
