This role requires experience in social care, preferably as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or Care Coordinator, a full UK driving licence and you to be available for all the the stated working hours. Please do not apply if you do not match all 3 of these terms.

We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Coordinator to provide essential out-of-hours support, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuity of care for our clients.
Please Note: The role may require for you to deliver care around the Manchester area in the event of an emergency.
Job Overview:
This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Carer or Healthcare Professional looking to top up their earnings with flexible, part-time hours. The On-Call Coordinator will manage out-of-hours queries, cover emergency staff shortages, and ensure all services run smoothly during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-call support for care staff and clients outside of normal office hours (mainly weekends and after 17:00 on weekdays).

Respond to emergency calls, staff absences, and any service-related issues efficiently.

Coordinate last-minute cover by liaising with available care staff.

Ensure service users' needs are met by maintaining adequate staffing levels.

Maintain clear communication with the operational team regarding any significant issues.

Keep accurate records of all out-of-hours interactions and actions taken.
Requirements:

Experience in social care, preferably as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or Care Coordinator.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle urgent situations calmly.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and use initiative.

Access to a phone and reliable transport (essential).
