A London-based, fast-moving international group is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their small but ambitious Engineering team.
This is your chance to work across global markets, sourcing spare parts and assemblies for manufacturing industries in the Middle East, Europe, and the Far East.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing RFQs, evaluating vendor offers, and preparing cost sheets

Negotiating with suppliers and raising purchase orders

Maintaining accurate reports, databases, and product catalogues

Supporting vendor selection and development

Liaising closely with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with engineering needs
Who we’re looking for:

Strong commercial awareness

Numerate, IT literate, confident in MS Office; SAP experience a plus (training provided)

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude

Methodical, detail-oriented, and flexible with priorities
