Autism Support Assistant (UK school experience essential)
Location: Various roles, South-East & South-West London
Salary: £90–£108 per day – Depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Do you have a natural ability to connect with young people who see the world a little differently?
We’re looking for compassionate Autism Support Assistants for various roles in specialist schools across South London, supporting pupils with autism and related communication needs. You’ll work alongside a brilliant, supportive team helping children build confidence, communication skills, and independence in a calm, structured environment.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small, consistent groups

Using visual supports, communication aids, and sensory strategies

Encouraging positive engagement and emotional regulation

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
What we’re looking for:

Understanding or experience of autism and neurodiversity

A patient, adaptable, and caring approach

Reliability, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others

(Bonus!) Thrive training or willingness to complete it for free with us
Experience in specialist education is helpful but not essential—what matters most is your positivity and passion for making a difference.
