Support Assistants (Punjabi/Urdu Speaking) – Reading Area
We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Support Assistants to provide 1:1 support to individuals in the Reading area.
Positions available: Full-time and Part-time
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Language requirement: Proficiency in Punjabi and/or Urdu is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalised 1:1 support to individuals with autism and mental health needs.

Promote independence, dignity, and emotional well-being in all aspects of care and support.

Build trusting relationships through effective communication and cultural understanding.

Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

Maintain accurate records and adhere to organisational policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:

Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or mental health conditions is essential.

Ability to communicate fluently in Punjabi and/or Urdu.

Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant training or qualifications in health and social care are desirable.
