Maintenance Operative
Pay Rate: £18.20 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Covering Northampton, Corby & surrounding areas
Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out responsive and planned maintenance works across empty and tenanted properties within the Northampton, Corby, and surrounding areas. The role requires a multi-skilled approach with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out repairs and maintenance on both void and occupied properties
Undertake a range of maintenance tasks including:
Basic plumbing repairs
Painting and decorating
Minor carpentry works
General property maintenance
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures
Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied homes
Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
Accurately report completed works and any follow-up requirements
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a maintenance or multi-trade role
Good practical knowledge of plumbing, painting, and carpentry
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and customer service skills

Monday to Friday working pattern (no weekends)
