OLG Recruitment are recruiting for a Stores Technician to work for a client based in Stallingborough. This is a temporary contract role, with an approximate duration of 18 months. This is a shift role working days.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:

Health and Safety – Responsible for following all Mandatory, Site and Department Health and Safety and Fire regulations

MRO Warehouse Security – Ensure that the warehouse is secure when unmanned and that access is controlled. All visitors should report to the MRO Warehouse Office and challenged if they do not. All security breaches are to be reported to the relevant departments.

House Keeping - MRO Warehouse Housekeeping should be of a very high standard, this includes the creation of 5s projects and the raising of L4SB’s to elevated any bad or good practices.

Quality Assurance (QA) – Personnel are to comply with current procedures associated with the QA of MRO materials including NON-Stock.

Material Receipting External - Review and Check all incoming deliveries for the correct items as per the delivery note and Purchase Order; Ensuring all items are in the correct condition and report any discrepancies.

Material Receipting Internal - Check all incoming deliveries for the correct items as per the documentation, Ensuring all items are in the correct condition and report any discrepancies.

Material Issues Internal – Remove all materials requested by customers and check the item against the request documents. Prepare the items for either delivery to the unloading point or collection by the relevant department. Report any short falls as per current procedures.

Material Issues External – Remove all materials requested by customers and check the item against the request documents. Prepare the items for collection, ensuring all external issues are recorded in accordance with current procedures.

Inventory Management – Personnel are responsible for the updating of all the Inventory management systems used by the MRO warehouse both electronic and manual in accordance with current procedures.

Cycle Counting and Audits – Personnel are responsible for the completion of the Yearly Cycle Count and the completion of both Internal and External Audits as allocated by the MRO Warehouse Supervisor , Supply Chain Manager, Internal Audit Team and the External Company Auditors.

Transportation of materials between warehouses, kitting areas and unloading points
Site Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

Kitting – The Warehouse Operative will work with the MRO Inventory Controller to expedite all kitting request in accordance with current procedures.

Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) – Only qualified personnel should operate MHE.

Hazardous Material – All hazardous materials should be handled and stored in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet and local procedures.

Relocation of Materials – Materials relocated are to be reported and the Inventory Management system updated.

Forward Stores – All materials held forward are to be checked and replenished in accordance with current procedures

Storage Media and Materials – Check all storage media and materials for damage or deterioration and report all findings to the Warehouse Supervisor
