Port Industrial Cleaner / Industrial Cleaning Operative
Location: Immingham
Salary: £12.21 - £15.07 per hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Port Industrial Cleaner to join our operations team at a busy commercial port. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial cleaning, port operations, or heavy-duty cleaning environments.
As a Port Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards across port facilities, machinery, and industrial areas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform industrial cleaning duties across port and terminal facilities
Clean warehouses, wharves, loading docks, and operational areas
Use high-pressure cleaning equipment, industrial vacuums, and chemicals safely
Remove waste, debris, oil, and residue from industrial surfaces
Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) and port security procedures
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Assist with spill response and deep cleaning tasks as required
Requirements
Previous experience in industrial cleaning, port cleaning, or heavy industry cleaning (preferred)
Ability to perform manual labour and physically demanding tasks
Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial environments
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
