Our client are a retailer of precious metals, Bullion & Coins and has an exciting opportunity to join their fast moving, small parcel dispatch team - for immediate start.
This is a hands-on role, requiring the successful candidate to be fit, enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated. You will be joining a well-established company in a fast-paced working environment where a keen eye for detail is essential. You will be working in a clean and modern working environment with an experienced and long-standing team. The role entails:
Processing, picking, packing and dispatching of orders.
Using a high level of accuracy and precision, ensuring goods inwards and delivery notes are correct.
Using stock control and external shipping software systems to process, ship and update orders.
Manual handling of stock - some heavy lifting.
Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
Ensuring a clean and well maintained working environment.
Ensuring customers only receive the highest quality of parcels. The skills that the successful candidate requires include:
An ability to work with speed and accuracy.
An excellent work ethic - motivated, flexible and fun.
Must be computer literate - essential use of Excel and Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills both verbal and online, with an ability to liaise with all departments of the business and our service providers. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not a necessity, this is small parcel processing and not large scale warehouse dispatch. There would be a three months' probation period where training would be given to achieve the required level of knowledge. References will be required.
Upon a successful application, a DBS check will be required as part of the client's security procedure.
