HR Administrator
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Permanent role
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our Human Resources Team based at our Doncaster site. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy HR function within a large, well-established organisation.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of HR and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with HR processes including absence management and new starter/leaver administration
Create and maintain accurate electronic personnel files, ensuring compliance with GDPR
Complete HR administration tasks such as:
New starter documentation and Right to Work checks
References (incoming and outgoing)
Healthcare letters and occupational health referrals
Ad hoc HR correspondence
Maintain HR spreadsheets, trackers, and produce reports as required
Arrange meetings and related activities, including notifications to employees and managers
Provide HR support during formal absence meetings and low-level investigations, including minute-taking
Support the L&D Coordinator with training administration and scheduling
Process invoices, obtain approvals, and liaise with Finance
Carry out general HR administrative duties, including filing and post handling
Undertake ad hoc duties as required
The Person
Essential:
GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English
Ideally have2 years’ experience in an HR, or similar, administrative role
Strong diligence and initiative-taking approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage workload effectively and work with discretion
Understanding of Equality & Diversity, GDPR, and Employment Law
Desirable:
Ambitions to achieve HR Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice (Level 3)
