Job Vacancy: Labourer (Driving License Required)
Location: Northampton & Surrounding Areas
Contract Type: Full-Time, Social Housing Contract
Pay Rate: £14-£19 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Labourer to join our team supporting trades on various tasks related to social housing contracts. You will be assisting with cleaning, painting, waste removal, and kitchen rip-out works across Northampton and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with cleaning, preparing, and maintaining work areas.
Support trades with painting tasks, ensuring surfaces are prepared to a high standard.
Carry out waste removal and ensure disposal is handled in line with safety and environmental standards.
Help with the rip-out and removal of old kitchen fittings and units.
Drive company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to various sites.
Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness on-site at all times.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driving license and experience driving vans.
Previous experience in a labouring role, preferably within the construction or social housing sector.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
Good communication skills.
